El camino de la Modernidad según Hans Blumenberg

Resumen

El texto elabora en la primera parte un comentario personal de la obra Die Legitimität der Neuzeit de Hans Blumenberg, intentando al mismo tiempo situarla dentro de la polémica con Carl Schmitt y Karl Löwith. En la segunda parte, se intenta mostrar cómo, contra la opinión corriente, la secularización consiste en un concepto más poetológico que político, por un lado, y narrativo en vez de dramatúrgico, por el otro. También demuestra cómo la idea que subyace en la categoría moderna de mundo es la de una antropología de la autoafirmación y no de la sustancia o de la naturaleza. This paper develops a personal viewpoint on Die Ligitimitat der Neuzeit by Hans Blumenberg, while trying to to bring this work to the controversy held with Carl Schmitt and Karl Lowith in its first part. In the second part, there is an attempt to show how, going against the flow, the notion of secularism is more poetological on the one hand, and narrative rather than dramaturgical, on the other. He also shows how the idea underlying the modern  category of "world" is one of an anthropology of self- assertion rather than one of substance or nature.
